Recollect is a 2D topdown puzzle-adventure game. In this game you're given the abitlity to cast several spells by typing them on the keyboard. Early on you will also collect a spellbook to serve as a hint but not all spells will be entirely visible. However, throughout the game you'll be collecting different keyboard keys, some of which will uncover parts of spells in the spellbook while also uncovering mysteries of the alien world around you.

You are a character with no definite identity, no memories of the past and no goal to follow. You just exist in the world that you don't understand. Yet, there is a reason to why you're here, much like there is a reason for why you have no memories of what happened before you came here. Will you be able to find out what really happened?

Development

The game has been released as a demo, but since the story of the game hasn't been completed in this version, we will be still working on completing it and releasing it when it is done. Thank you for your patience and we hope we enjoy our game even in its current form.

This game was created as a semestral project for the "Computer Games" course at CTU FEE during the winter semester 2024/2025. In the final presentations that happened in the last week of the semester it placed first.
